Job Title: CHEF

Location: Chingford, UK


Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare authentic Indian and British dishes, including starters, main courses, and desserts.

  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality standards.

  • Create and adapt menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

  • Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery of meals.

  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimize waste.

  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with UK regulations.

  • Train and mentor kitchen staff as needed.

  • Manage and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.

Job Requirements:

  1. Qualifications & Experience:

    • Proven experience as a chef specializing in Indian and British cuisines.

    • NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent) is desirable.

    • Experience in menu development and kitchen management.

  2. Skills:

    • Ability to cook authentic dishes from scratch using traditional methods.

    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

    • Knowledge of food hygiene, health, and safety regulations in the UK.

    • Creativity and passion for food innovation.

  3. Other Requirements:

    • Eligible for a Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
